TheOne AI
From a virtual assistant to a B2B2C model
TheOne AI is reinventing how people search for and purchase the perfect piece of jewelry through artificial intelligence. Initially designed to help consumers choose their jewelry through a personalized AI-powered assistant, the solution gradually evolved into a B2B2C model aimed at online retailers.
Through our collaboration, two major innovations emerged: a personalized recommendation widget for online stores, and VisualMatch, a visual search engine that instantly identifies similar jewelry items through photo recognition.
Kumojin transformed the company’s business vision into high-performing solutions, ready to be integrated into multiple online stores immediately upon release.
Need
Transform a virtual assistant initially designed for consumers into an integrable B2B2C SaaS solution, capable of providing online jewelry retailers with personalized, AI-powered sales support tools.
Objective
Democratize the use of artificial intelligence in the jewelry industry by making its benefits accessible to both retailers and consumers through simple, intuitive tools seamlessly integrated into online sales platforms.
Challenges
-
Ensuring data confidentiality
The virtual assistant, originally designed without distinguishing between jewelers, had to be re-engineered with complete data separation to prevent any information sharing between different retailers.
-
Redesigning the application
As part of the transition to a widget format, we redesigned the application to offer a more neutral design adaptable to the diverse visual identities of partner stores.
-
Ensuring AI performance
The main challenge was to create a high-performance API connected to an AI model capable of identifying jewelry from photos in real time, while maintaining a smooth shopping experience. Thanks to this pragmatic and flexible design, TheOne AI was able to offer the solution directly to jewelers with more complex needs.

Solution
Modular and Intelligent Solutions Designed for Online Jewelers
To support the evolution of TheOne AI’s business model, we designed a modern and flexible software architecture capable of adapting to the specific needs of each partner. The original virtual assistant was completely reimagined to become an autonomous SaaS widget, easily integrable into online stores.
From this transformation emerged VisualMatch, an AI-powered visual search engine capable of instantly identifying similar jewelry items from a photo, along with a personalized recommendation widget for online boutiques. Together, these two tools now offer jewelry retailers an enriched, high-performing shopping experience aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
The result: a complete and scalable, user-centered solution that democratizes the use of AI in the jewelry sector while strengthening the competitiveness of online retailers.
